Org gives members a chance to guide the organization’s next steps
On Nov 26th at 7pm cyclists and the bike-curious will descend on The Bus Stop Theatre, 2203 Gottingen St. to pitch and vote on ideas for how to make Halifax more bike-friendly. The event will feature a series of elevator pitch-style presentations (1 minute in length) from members on ideas to improve cycling conditions and raise awareness for cycling in Halifax.
It’s important for the Halifax Cycling Coalition to hear from our members as we continue the push for better cycling facilities and more education for both cyclists and motorists. The top pitches, as voted by attendees, will form our some of our priorities for the next few years.
Happy Birthday: “The HCC turns 6!”
The event will also be a celebration of the Cycling Coalition’s 6th anniversary. With the successful installation of the Windsor Street Bike Lane, we have a big achievement to celebrate this year.
There will be finger foods on hand as well as a cash bar. Admission will be 2$, free with an HCC membership (5$, available at the door).
