Our biggest event of the year is fast approaching! I Light HFX is a joyous annual occurrence. Last year we had about 220 attendees of all ages and varying abilities. Everyone is encouraged to decorate their bikes with lights and we’ll have lots of prizes, light giveaways and refreshments. This is a family friendly event! As the days get shorter, let’s make sure no one gets left in the dark.

 

📅 Date: Saturday, November 2nd (rain date Nov 3)

🕕 Time: 6:00 PM (Prizes at 6:15pm, Ride starts at 6:30pm, Gathering at 7:30pm)

📍 Meeting Point: Studley Quad, 1 Alumni Crescent (west end of University Ave)

🆓 Cost: FREE (donations invited)

📝 Registration: you need to sign the insurance waiver if you haven’t done so this year

🏆 Prizes: The most creative and brightest bikes will be awarded prizes. There will also be door prizes and free lights given away!

☕ Food: Hot drinks before the ride from Java Blend. Post-ride snacks will also be available!

🚽 Bathrooms: We will have access to the bathrooms inside Studley Gym before and after the ride.

🚲 Route: The ride will be 6 km (see route below) clockwise loop through downtown.

 

 

This year we are partnering with Dal/Kings Bike Centre which will be the start and end point for the route.
