    Kick off your summer cycling season with our Ride Into Summer! event - a beautiful journey along the Chain of Lakes Trail that's perfect for cyclists of all abilities.

    When: Saturday, July 5 at 8:30 AM

    Ride Start: 9:00 AM

    Duration: Approximately 2 hours (including cafe stop)

    Route Details:

    Distance: 9KM total (4.5KM each way)

    Starting Point: Entrance of Ashburn Golf Club

    Destination: 5K Cafe and back

    Terrain: Scenic trail suitable for all skill levels

    What's Included:

    • 🚴‍♂️ Guided group ride with experienced leaders
    • ☕ Refreshment break at the popular 5K Cafe
    • 🏃‍♀️ Group stretch exercises to start and finish
    • 👥 Volunteer sweeps to ensure no one gets left behind
    • 🌟 Community atmosphere with fellow cycling enthusiasts

    Start your Sunday with a relaxing Sunday Morning Cruise - a gentle 8KM neighborhood tour that's perfect for cyclists of all abilities

    Ride Start: 9:00 AM
    Duration: Approximately 2 hours

    • Distance: 8KM total

    • Difficulty: Easy - suitable for all skill levels

    • Starting/Ending Point: Emera Oval

    • Route: Neighborhood tour via Halifax Common, Almon Street, Geldert Street, Coburg Road, Vernon Street and back to the Oval

    • Terrain:  HRM's designated cycling roads
