Urban Cycling – Practical Skills Training

Registration is closed for this event
Have you taken the online Urban Cycling 101 course this summer? If so, we are now offering in-person practical skills training to anyone who's taken the online course!

Join instructor Ashleigh Boers from the Ecology Action Centre's Making Tracks program for a 2-hour bike skills training session on Saturday, October 3rd from 10am to 12pm at the Woodlawn Library in Dartmouth. The skills training will include practicing hand signals, balance, etc., in a parking lot setting, and then going for a short bike ride as a group. You can see what the practical part of the course is like by watching this video

The course has a minimum of 4 people and maximum of 6 people, meaning that if we don't have at least 4 people registered, we will cancel and offer you a spot in the next course. You will need to bring a bike to take part in this portion of the course.

The practical skills training is open only to those who have participated in our Urban Cycling 101 online course this year.
