Bike & Breath – Group Ride and Yoga on the Commons

Registration is closed for this event
Join us for a short group ride around the peninsula, followed by a 45-minute yoga class in the Halifax Commons.

**Due to weather, this event has been postponed until Wednesday (same details and time)

Join us for a short group ride around the peninsula, followed by a 45-minute yoga class in the Commons. We will meet at the Halifax Commons (near the Cunard and North Park roundabout) around 5:30 pm and then head out for a nice and easy 8km (approx. 30 minute) ride to the trailhead at Africville. You can view the route here.

Don't forget to bring your bike, helmet, bell and lights! If you don't have bells or lights on your bell, let us know ahead of time (we have extras we can bring for you). Also, please bring water and a towel, blanket or yoga mat to practice on. We will stop by HCC's office on the way out and anyone who wants to leave their mat there before the ride is welcome to do so!

Jasmine Boudreau will be leading the class. Jasmine is a certified yoga teacher (and all-around wonderful human) whose yoga classes are thoughtful and accessible for everyone, no matter their level of yoga. The class will focus on stretching out the muscles that are often tight from cycling.

A special thank you to Goodmore Kombucha, who will be providing a post-class kombucha for everyone who attends this event!

There is limited space for this event, so be sure to register early to ensure you have a spot! This event is free, but there is an option to donate to HCC to support our ongoing advocacy work.

If you have any questions, concerns or accessibility needs at all send us an email at!
