The treasurer will oversee the financial matters of the HCC in line with good practice and in accordance with the HCC’s governing documents and legal requirements. The Treasurer will report to the Board of Directors at regular intervals about the financial health of the organization.
The treasurer will ensure that effective financial measures, controls, and procedures are put in place, and are appropriate for the organization. If you have been looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity you might have just found it!
If this role isn’t a fit for you, but you know someone who’s skills would be handy in this position, please share this post with them.
