2019 Urban Cycling 101 Course Infographic

HCC has been offering Urban Cycling 101 courses in Halifax and Dartmouth for a couple of years now and from day 1, we have gotten really great feedback from everyone who has participated. The course is for anyone who wants to build their skills for riding a bike in an urban environment. Over 4 hours, participants get classroom-style instruction from trained instructors, parking lot training, and a chance to practice your new skills on a short on-street bike ride as a group. You get an instruction booklet to take home as well as a sweet prize provided by Halifax Cycles bike shop. We produced this fact sheet about the 2019 program season, and we wanted to share it with you!

We want to thank our program partners; the Ecology Action Centre and Halifax Cycles for helping to make the program such a success.

In 2020, we will be adding more courses in more locations in partnership with the Halifax Public Libraries, so stay tuned for registration info in the spring!
