  • More!

The Second Annual Halifax Cycling Awards will be presented by the HCC on May 25, 2012, at the Bike Week Kickoff Party. In addition to recognition at the Kickoff Party, winners will receive an award that can be displayed, and will be recognized in media promotions.

I want to nominate the store Sportwheels. I feel they have a great amount of involvement in helping encourage the community to get out and ride. They offer great service to people regardless of the quality of their bikes, they offer great trade in value to help people upgrade if they want, and they offer great deals on used and rebuilt bikes to help get people with less income out and riding. They also sponsor 2 free group rides per week as they understand that cycling is a fun group activity.
